I've been working on stuff for Fanime too, haha, even though I'm going to four conventions before then, ahaha. I should be finishing Ammy (Amaterasu), but that's more like prop-making than sewing, so I don't think it's quite as fun. =[

April: Comic Arts & Anime Teen Expo (aka CAAT) (Fremont)
May: Super-con (Hayward) Fanime (San Jose)
August: Kin-Yoobi Con (Hayward)
October: Yaoi Con (San Mateo)
And then we're back to Holiday Anime Faire. I may cut a few out (Super-Con is a possible cut, as well as both the Fremont ones) due to money, or rather, lack of it.
I'm no good with props, really. The best I did was my Ammy shield, and that was actually made with mostly fabric, heh.
I've got to fix the shield, actually, because it broke last time I wore it, while I was in line for the costume contest no less!!! T_T Whatever. I still got third >_>
I need to work on the feet too, I'm in the process of putting Shoe Goo on the bottom of them so that they can withstand wear better. Right now, the bottoms are just foam. I also need to touch up the shorts, but that's just me being lazy and not particularly wanting to work with fur again. I also need to make arm bands for the shoulder "wings" and gloves, which are just part of my own design. I also have to finish the mask, or at least I'd like to. But I don't know whether I should use the same fabric as the gloves or a fabric that looks more like fur to cover it. *le sigh*
